Nature Walk Series

WALKS of Nature(1).png

We are excited to announce that we are launching a new nature walk and explore group!

Come enjoy the beauty of nature, be inspired by outdoors space, and let the energy other group members nourish your path forward.

Sessions have concluded for 2025. A new series for 2026 will be coming soon.

Why an outdoors group?

Being in nature elicits powerful mechanisms to help us regulate our nervous systems and improve our overall health. Numerous studies have shown that being in green spaces help with mental health, surgery recovery, and other benefits. In addition, movement is essential for our body to stay healthy. Besides being outdoors, having connections with other people are essential to our well being.  Despite this, much of our modern day lives have evolved in opposite direction of our health: being sedentary, indoors, and isolated.

In this group, there's an opportunity to take a different route, by taking us outdoors, giving ourselves the space to move, and to connect with others.

Where is it?

We will be meeting outdoor in the Forest Preserves of Cook County or park within or near Chicago. Session location may vary by month but will be primarily located in the Chicago north or west suburbs. Additional locations can be considered based on group interest.
